Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology 

Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology is the only undergraduate level vocational education pilot reform institution in Hainan Province, and is one of the first batch of undergraduate level vocational universities in China. The school was established in 2006 on the basis of the former Haikou campus of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. It began admitting college students through unified enrollment in 2008 and undergraduate students through unified enrollment in 2019, undertaking an important task of pilot reform of vocational undergraduate education. The school implements the fundamental task of "cultivating virtue and talents", adheres to the education of the Party and the country, adheres to the school motto of "science, pragmatism, virtue, and innovation" and the educational philosophy of "strengthening the school with talents, establishing the school with quality, and developing the school with characteristics". With employment as the guide, it cultivates high-level technical and skilled talents who serve high-end industries and positions for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port and the economic and social development of Hainan.

Under the correct leadership of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, and Provincial Department of Education, the school has developed into a "double high" construction college in Hainan Province, the first batch of national emergency education pilot schools, a national vocational college digital campus construction demonstration school, a Ministry of Education "1+X" vocational skill level certificate reform pilot school, a Ministry of Education Planning and Construction Center "Industry Education Integration Application Curriculum Reform Experimental School", a "Hainan Province Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Guidance Center" approved by the China Disabled Persons Federation and the Ministry of Education, and the first batch of "National Vocational College Health Service and Management Professional Demonstration Points" approved by the Ministry of Education, the National Health Commission, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The school obtained a bachelor's degree authorization unit in April 2022, and all undergraduate majors have obtained bachelor's degree authorization; In Hainan Free Trade Port, the construction of undergraduate and master's degree programs has been popularized. Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology was approved as a new master's degree granting project construction unit in Hainan Province in December 2022. The project aims to establish four professional master's degree programs, namely "Electronic Information, Materials and Chemical Engineering, Machinery, and Transportation". The results of student subject and skill competitions ranked in the top 200 in the 2022 National Vocational College Student Competition Ranking released by the Higher Education Association, ranking first among private undergraduate vocational universities in China in 2021; The teaching development index of teachers in private vocational colleges ranks first, making it the top ranked private vocational undergraduate university in the country; Received titles such as "2023 China Vocational Education Role Model Brand", "2023 Comprehensive Competitiveness Brand University", and "Top Ten Famous Private Brand Schools in China".
